Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Pathology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (RPCCC) seeks to recruit an academic Cytopathologist at the Assistant, or Associate Professor rank with fellowship training in cytopathology to support expansion of the Institute's clinical and research programs in this area. The successful candidate will be expected to sign out cytopathology cases, perform rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) at procedures performed by interventional radiologists and endoscopists, and support both the multidisciplinary tumor boards and translational research activities in this area. Development of an independent research program is encouraged and will be supported. There is ample opportunity to participate in a wide variety of interesting oncologic cases, both in-house and in our consultation practice within the service subspecialties of our Anatomic Pathology division.

Salary range is $233,310 - $333,353 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications, and excellent fringe benefits are offered.

License and Certification Requirement
1. License or permit to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York.
2. Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Pathology or a specialty of Anatomic Pathology, Experimental Pathology, Laboratory Medicine, Cytogenetics, Molecular Diagnostics, Flow Cytometry, Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology or Autopsy Pathology.
Education and Experience
Medical Doctor degree and prior full-time experience in the field of Pathology or a specialty of Anatomic Pathology, Experimental Pathology, Laboratory Medicine, Cytogenetics, Molecular Diagnostics and Flow Cytometry, Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, or Autopsy Pathology.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
