Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Pharmacy Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Reviews, evaluates and dispenses individual drug orders including unit dose medications, intravenous additive preparations, total parenteral nutrition, chemotherapeutic agents, and investigational agents; interacts with nurses and prescribers to consult on medication and treatments along with drug therapy; monitors the drug therapy and offers cost effective alternatives, as appropriate; counsels patients in the proper use of prescribed drugs; oversees and directs pharmacy technician staff in the execution of technical functions.Salary range is $134,208 - $162,796 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. License Requirement
License to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New York
Education and Experience
1. Doctor of Pharmacy degree; or
2. Master's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time clinical pharmacy or pharmacy-related experience; or
3. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of three (3) of full-time clinical pharmacy or pharmacy-related experience.
NOTES:
1. Incumbents must be credentialed as a member of the organization Medical Staff (Allied Health Professional) within four months of date of hire as a condition of continued employment.
2. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate should have be board certified and have hospital, infusion pharmacy, and oncology experience.
