Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Molecular & Cellular Biology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: The mission of the department is to elucidate fundamental mechanisms contributing to the initiation and progression of cancer at the molecular, cellular, and organismal level. Research directions within the Department have been driven by illuminating the intersection of genetics, developmental pathways, and cellular features of cancer using genetically-engineered and patient-derived models. These studies impact on the understanding of tumor etiology, metastasis, therapeutic responses, and the complexity of the overall cancer phenotype.We seek candidates bringing cutting-edge ideas and technologies to the problem of cancer, as evidenced by productive post-doctoral research experience. Individuals with broad interests in tumor cell biology, cancer genetics/epigenetics, and systems biological approaches to cancer would nicely complement existing Departmental strengths.
The successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in Departmental and Cancer Center research efforts, while further contributing to the expertise, creativity, and energy within the Department.

Salary range is $98,456 - $212,380 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
The candidate must have a PhD or MD degree in an appropriate scientific or clinical-based discipline and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in an applicable scientific or clinical research environment.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
A candidate must hold a doctoral degree in an appropriate scientific or clinical-based discipline and possess the equivalent of two years of full-time experience in a relevant scientific or clinical research environment. Additionally, significant documented success in cancer research, demonstrated by a strong publication and/or funding track record, is preferred,
