Summary

RNDC is looking for talented and energetic Accounts receivable Specialists to join our growing Trade AR team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will communicate with previous clients and customers to request and collect payment and arrange payment plans. They will be highly engaged with customers to obtain information and payment and with internal team members to explain customers' payments plan/status.?

In this role, you will
  • Main function is to collect money; liquidate working capital? 
  • Contact customers to determine and address what they need to execute a payment or for RNDC to secure a payment? 
  • When/as collecting money, request appropriate remittance details and forward to cash team so that RNDC can apply cash correctly? 
  • Could perform some cash applications duties to ensure that money gets in the bank (e.g., taking credit card payment when open invoices and RNDC hasn't been paid)? 
  • Explain to internal customers (e.g., salesperson) why an order can't ship, why RNDC can't reach customer, reasons for lack of payment. Be able to communicate a plan to clear past due items on the customers' account and be able to ship new product when warranted.?? 
  • Provide next steps/brief answers to driver, KAR, customer, and sales team calls/questions/web inquiries (e.g., terms, pricing, credits available)? 
  • Work collaboratively with other internal team members and customers as needed to obtain required information from and share results with appropriate stakeholders.???? 
  • Be able to work through customer roadblocks, bringing in the appropriate level of assistance (escalation) and communicating the situation and plan forward accurately, completely, and succinctly.? 

 

What you bring to RNDC

High School diploma and 2-6 years' experience in collections, with 2-4 years of B2B, preferably in the Mass merchandiser / national chain (grocery / drug – pharmacy / other) space; or equivalent combination of education and experience.? Associates degree or higher preferred and 2 plus years of job-related experience preferred.? 

NACM Certification preferred. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:? 
Microsoft Suite? 
Accounting Software – Oracle AR? 
Internet Software – Browsers and search engines? 
Spreadsheet Software – Microsoft products? 
Miscellaneous – 9ci, Salesforce, CCAAS, Experian, Fintech, Icontol, Banking software?
