Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Grain Elevator Supervisor to join our team at our St. Louis, MO Milling location. As a Grain Elevator Supervisor, you will be responsible for plants infrastructure, personnel, safety, and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for communicating daily activities, company policy, and safety protocols

  • Provide operational management support while contributing to ongoing improvements and efficiency

  • Supervising staff within a unionized environment

  • Perform routine observations on grain elevator equipment for maintenance and safety; repair and schedule replacements when necessary

  • Perform routine inventory measurements and monitor grain record and reports

  • Training and developing staff in workplace safety standards, work practices and job tasks

  • Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness standards and assist with operations as needed

  • Comply with safety/security policies and participate in safety training

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years in grain elevator operations or related areas

  • Mechanically proficient

  • Excellent analytical, mechanical and problem solving skills

  • Leadership and management with problem solving and conflict management

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Proficiency in using computers and computer programs

  • Shuttle experience an asset
