The Administrative Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supporting the leadership team by analyzing and improving the unit's financial performance. This role encompasses supervising administrative staff, managing operational workflows, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial and administrative processes.This position would require some travel between offices in Burnsville, NC, Lenoir, NC, Bakersville, NC, and Marshall, NC.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervisory Duties
- Supervise, train, and support administrative staff in daily operations.
- Oversee team performance, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.
- Manage administrative personnel schedules, timekeeping, and performance evaluations.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding administrative staff.
Operational and Financial Responsibilities
- Coordinate the gathering, preparation, and reporting of financial data.
- Assist in analyzing financial reports to monitor and improve the unit's performance.
- Manage service and insurance authorizations, ensuring prompt and accurate approvals.
- Handle purchasing functions while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Administrative Support
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment at the front desk, providing excellent customer service.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are performed efficiently and meet company standards.
Additional Duties
- Travel as assigned to support operations across locations.
- Perform other tasks as required to ensure the smooth functioning of the office.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position supervises Administrative team members
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–2 years of office experience.
- Experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with insurance authorization processes.
- Valid driver's license and automotive insurance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 lbs.
- Must be able to pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
- Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
- Required to regularly stand and walk.
