The position of Technical Solutions Specialist will be based Remote!

Summary
The Technical Solutions Specialist is responsible for providing expert knowledge of electrical systems, including both low-voltage and high-voltage applications. This role requires a strong understanding of lighting technologies, the ability to communicate complex technical information in layman's terms, and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing lighting retrofits and repairs.

 

What You'll Do

  • Technical Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of lighting systems, switchgear, and site lighting to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate technical information to clients and team members in an easily understandable manner, ensuring clarity and comprehension.
  • Solution Development: Design and propose lighting retrofit solutions that enhance energy efficiency, improve performance, and meet regulatory standards.
  • Customer Support: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance on lighting solutions and best practices.
  • Training and Education: Offer training sessions and workshops for clients and team members on lighting technologies, energy efficiency, and maintenance practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate reports of site assessments, proposals, and service reports to ensure effective project management and follow-up.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent    
  • 5+ years Construction Management
  • Experience with relevant reporting tools and software to streamline documentation processes. Proficient with Microsoft Suite products including Excel, Word, and Teams.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient understanding of electrical systems, including both low voltage and high voltage applications.
  • Knowledge of both commercial and industrial setups for lighting circuitry.
  • Ability to diagnose issues in electrical systems and lighting circuits effectively.
  • Skilled in interpreting troubleshooting results and identifying potential solutions.
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical information and solutions to customers clearly and effectively.
  • Competent in creating comprehensive and accurate reports based on field data collected from contractors.
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings in a clear, organized manner.
  • Knowledgeable in the differences and applications of low voltage, high voltage systems as well Driver and Ballast power supply. 
  • Awareness of safety protocols and regulations associated with both voltage types.
