The position of Outside Sales Rep will be based Remote!Summary
Rexel Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Account Executive with a successful background in developing and managing relationships within the public sector. This full-time role requires collaboration with Rexel Energy Solutions' and internal teams to drive revenue growth in the public sector across the United States.
What You'll Do
- Increase business by generating sales to new customers and by selling additional products to existing customers
- Collaborate with leadership, team members, and suppliers in planning, tracking, and implementing sales strategies and developing new markets
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Research and analyze competitive intelligence to inform strategic planning, competitive positioning, and business development activities.
- Develop and implement tailored sales strategies for each state and/or region to maximize public sector engagement and revenue.
- Build and maintain partnerships with public entities interested in EV solutions to encourage long-term adoption and knowledge-sharing and sustainable practices.
- Achieve annual sales and engagement goals by account, aligning efforts with broader public sector EV initiatives.
- Perform account planning and coordination with internal teams to ensure strategic alignment and focus on public sector objectives.
- Create growth-oriented plans to engage ESCO and electrical contractor networks in public sector projects.
- Collaborate with EV hardware manufacturers and software companies to develop strategic and tactical plans to increase sales and adoption in public sector markets.
- Work with the Rexel Energy EV Team to accurately forecast revenue for the public sector territory and key accounts.
- Territory-based (home), with travel up to 30% to foster in-person relationships with public sector partners.

What You'll Need
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably with a focus on public sector or government accounts. Experience in e-mobility, cloud services, or technical solutions is a plus.
