Description
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the staff RN performs professionalrole functions in accordance with scope of practice and professional standards,including demonstrating the knowledge and ability to use and/or lead the scopeof practice, professional standards and accreditation / regulatory standards,scope of practice for LVN and all other nursing personnel e.g. unlicensedassistive personnel. The RN demonstrates the ability to assess their ownprofessional role performance, current knowledge of theory and principlesrelated to discipline specific practice, and the ability to use a populationbased approach to determine patient needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current CA State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
2. Current CPR certification required.
3. ACLS certification preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire forexperienced RN's, required within 6 months of hire for new grad RN's.
4. PALS certification preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire forexperienced RN's, required within 6 months of hire for new grad RN's.
5. NIHSS certification required for current employees by8/31/16; required within 6 months of hire for new employees after 8/31/16.
6. Recent appropriate nursing practice (within past 4 years), or evidenceof nursing refresher courses preferred.

Compensation Information:
$44.38 / hourly - $72.40 / hourly
