JOB PURPOSE

To provide ongoing administrative and project management support to the Good Hearts Gear (GHG) Production, Sales, and Management teams.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Business Operations Specialist shall:

  • Provide administrative assistance to GHG management teams
  • Attend all pertinent meetings for accurate note and record taking. Provide necessary follow-up for timely completion of duties, projects, and cross-company communications.
  • Maintain the project management tool for recording meetings, projects, and deadlines.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of GHG website imaging, descriptions, and policies; ensure there is ease of locating for customers.
  • Prepare reports as requested; participate as needed in presentations, meetings.
  • Utilization of financial system for processing of items, goods, inventory.
  • Assist with special order processing.
  • Maintain GHG sales calendar.
  • Ensure adherence to good safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the President of Good Hearts Gear.
  • Follow federal and state laws, as well as company policies.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Administrative Skills: Proficiency in tasks like data entry, flyers and managing correspondence.
  • Time Management: Efficiently managing time to handle multiple administrative duties.
  • Technical Skills: Computer skills in such areas as word processing, spreadsheets, and visual presentations. Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe, Ecommerce, website searches, AI and appropriate cloud-based applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: Being courteous, professional, and helpful in order to build good relationships with colleagues and manage task list.
  • Detail Oriented: Ensuring accuracy in clerical tasks and maintaining organized records.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to handle various tasks and adapt to changing office needs.
  • Bi-lingual preferred.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Administrative: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Marketing: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Fashion: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Such alternatives to the above requirements as GOOD HEARTS GEAR may find appropriate and acceptable.
  • Possible travel required to off-site locations including overnight trips.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • No physical exertion required.
  • Travel within or outside of Florida.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with Good Hearts Gear salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by Good Hearts Gear.

 

FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY

Job is exempt from the minimum wage and overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

 

EVALUATION

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Good Hearts Gear' policy.
