Certification Details
• Pediatrics experience in a children's hospital is preferred.
• Training in De-escalation is preferred.
• Tech Cert Verification for certain roles.

Job Details
• Registered Nurse position available at Rady Childrens Hospital San Diego.
• Experience with computerized charting is necessary.
• Triage experience, IV Start, Tele, Conscious Sedation skills required.

Job Requirements
• Current CA RN license.
• BLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• 2 years recent experience in a pediatric ED in a children's hospital - mixed adults/peds will be redirected.

Schedule Information
• 3x12s contracts, variable shifts or straight NOCS.
• Can request blocked scheduling.
• No more than 6 days of requested time off. Only one holiday request off.
• 13 or 26 week contracts.
• Variable Shift explanation included.

Unit Specific Information
• Job is for the pediatric emergency department.
• Only pediatric experience in children's hospital is considered.

Additional Details
• Valid photo ID is required. Must have front and back copies.
• Traveler must present on their first day.
• Special instructions for certifications like ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC and others.
