Prokatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio.

Weekly Schedule: 3x12

Description:
This is a Level I Trauma, 74-bed unit, 1:4 ratios.
Quickly assess and prioritize patients based on the severity of their conditions using triage protocols.
Provide immediate and appropriate care for a variety of urgent and life-threatening conditions, including administering medications, performing basic life support (BLS), and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) as needed.
Work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
Accurately document patient information, care provided, and patient responses in electronic health records (EHR).
Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, follow-up care, and health management.
Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
Assist with and perform emergency procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion, and wound care.

Requirements:
Must have 02+ years of recent ER experience.
Recent EPIC experience within the past year is required.
Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday.
Black Scrubs required.
Venipuncture and IV Starts required.

Education Required:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.

Certifications & Licenses Requirements:
Current OH or Compact State RN License.
BLS / ACLS / NIH certificate.
