Schedule Details: This is a 0.01 FTE position. This individual will be trained to work as a radiology clerk at our hospitals and clinics at the main Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Oconomowoc, Mukwanago, and Pewaukee campuses. As well as our outpatient clinic sites in Brookfield and in Waukesha. Schedule will be as needed. 1 Saturday morning every 8 weeks at Waukesha Memorial Hospital from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm. There is a requirement of at least 1 shift per month.

What You Will Do:
Responsible for performing senior-level clerical and administrative duties within the Radiology department setting, including and greeting patients, customers, and families, scheduling radiology exams, check-in, exam arrival, payment collection, and distribution of oral prep. Provides clerical support for radiologists, administrative and technical staff, including sorting mail, filing, answering phones, and restocking supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Clerical support for Radiologist, Administrative and Technical staff.
- Perform Reception duties to include scheduling, patient consenting, check-in, exam arrival, collecting payments, distribution of oral prep, coordination with Radiology, Scheduling, Admitting and Pre-Authorization staff.
- Answer and respond to telephone calls (multiple lines) in a professional, courteous and timely manner, taking clear and accurate messages and providing follow-up.
- Provide support to technical staff by distributing pre-exam preps and communicating any patient information or scheduling issues that affect the performance of the exam in a timely manner.
- Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, multi-line phone system, McKesson PACS CD burners, AGFA film printer and personal computers.
- Management and distribution of patient radiology related imaging and PHI Prepare and distribute patient records including original film, digital images burned to CD or DVD, electronic receiving and release of images via McKesson PACS and LifeImage.
- Use and enter data in patient Electronic Medical Record to ensure accuracy of the patient record for the performance, resulting and billing of exams.
- Demonstrates passion for customer service and a willingness to assist others within the department.
- Possesses excellent communication skills and fosters a team approach to accomplish established department goals.
- Resolves sensitive issues in a private setting.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
- Experience in ambulatory healthcare setting preferred
