Join our dedicated Outpatient Heart Failure team at ProHealth's Heart & Vascular Center, where you'll play an essential role in supporting patients with a range of cardiovascular conditions. 7:30-4:00 with variability by days; Heart & Vascular Center on campus of Waukesha Memorial Hospital as primary location.; Oconomowoc clinic as secondary location - one day each week for clinic support.
As a Clinical Support Associate, you'll assist in outpatient care, helping patients manage chronic conditions, providing education, and supporting diagnostic and therapeutic services. Our Heart Failure Clinic offers a wide range of services, including:
Cardiac Diagnostics: Assist with patient preparation and support for advanced diagnostic testing, such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitoring.
Preventive and Ongoing Care: Work closely with patients managing chronic conditions, including heart disease, hypertension, and arrhythmias. Help educate patients on managing their health and staying on top of preventive care.
Interventional Follow-Up: Support patients in recovery from interventional procedures, providing follow-up care and education on lifestyle modifications and medication management.
Collaborative Patient Care: Work with our cardiologists, nurse practitioners, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive and seamless care for each patient, promoting overall cardiovascular health.

In This Role, You Will:
Prepare patients for a variety of cardiovascular procedures and assist in monitoring vital signs.
Educate patients on preventive care strategies and support them in managing chronic conditions.
Document patient information accurately and maintain a smooth flow within the clinic.

Join Us and Begin Your Story with ProHealth Care What You Will Do:Provides direct care to patients under the supervision and delegation of the Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Physician within ProHealth Medical Group. Provides care in partnership with the patient and their family, with the goal of supporting an optimal healing community.
- Support ProHealth Care's Mission, Vision, and Values while adhering to the ProHealth Experience customer service goals.
- Efficiently prepare exam rooms by setting up proper equipment and supplies, following standard rooming workflows to prepare patients for provider exams, obtaining vital signs, health history verification, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR
- Clean exam rooms after each patient visit and maintain sufficient stock of supplies.
- Answer patient calls, obtain medical information, report test results, administer medications and vaccinations, prepare sterile fields, and assist with procedures as directed by providers.
- Perform therapeutic treatments, health screenings, specimen collection, Point of Care testing, and assist with splints or wound care under supervision.
- Respond to urgent situations, call for clinical assistance as needed, and assist in maintaining clinic medications, vaccinations, supplies, and equipment.
- Float to other departments or clinic locations as assigned by PHMG Leadership.
What you will Need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or other equivalent clinical training program
- 1 Year of experience
