Join Our Endocrinology Team as a Clinical Support Associate - Medical Assistant or EMT or LPN!
Schedule: FTE: 0.80 (32 hours per week). Work Shift: 1st shift, day hours. Tuesdays: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (at Sussex Clinic). Wednesdays: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Thursdays: 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM (at Pewaukee Clinic).
ProHealth Care's Endocrinology Department is dedicated to providing specialized care for patients dealing with complex hormone-related conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and more. As a Clinical Support Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to these patients, helping them navigate their health journeys with personalized support and expert care.
About Our Endocrinology Department:
At ProHealth Care, our endocrinologists focus on diagnosing, managing, and treating a range of conditions related to the endocrine system. This includes disorders of the thyroid, adrenal glands, pituitary gland, and metabolic bone diseases such as osteoporosis. Our team is committed to restoring hormone balance and improving patient outcomes through comprehensive, individualized care plans. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurse practitioners, and certified diabetes educators.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with patient care, including room preparation, taking vitals, and managing documentation in EPIC
- Support specialized procedures such as insulin pump management, continuous glucose monitoring, and other endocrine-related treatments.
- Collaborate with endocrinologists to provide patient education, including diabetes management and lifestyle counseling.
- Coordinate follow-up care, including scheduling appointments and completing prior authorizations.
- Travel between multiple locations, including Pewaukee, Brookfield, Muskego, and Oconomowoc, to provide care as needed.

What You Will Do:Provides direct care to patients under the supervision and delegation of the Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Physician within ProHealth Medical Group. Provides care in partnership with the patient and their family, with the goal of supporting an optimal healing community.
- Support ProHealth Care's Mission, Vision, and Values while adhering to the ProHealth Experience customer service goals.
- Efficiently prepare exam rooms by setting up proper equipment and supplies, following standard rooming workflows to prepare patients for provider exams, obtaining vital signs, health history verification, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR
- Clean exam rooms after each patient visit and maintain sufficient stock of supplies.
- Answer patient calls, obtain medical information, report test results, administer medications and vaccinations, prepare sterile fields, and assist with procedures as directed by providers.
- Perform therapeutic treatments, health screenings, specimen collection, Point of Care testing, and assist with splints or wound care under supervision.
- Respond to urgent situations, call for clinical assistance as needed, and assist in maintaining clinic medications, vaccinations, supplies, and equipment.
- Float to other departments or clinic locations as assigned by PHMG Leadership.
What you will Need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or other equivalent clinical training program
- 1 Year of experience
