Job Summary

To ensure that all referrals are received accurately, staffed properly and timely, and enters schedules into the agency Pathways scheduling system. Responsible for the recruitment and hiring process for the agency and participates in the on-call responsibilities for the agency.

Accountabilities

· Maintains a continuously updated knowledge of the agency's services for accurate scheduling of clients.

· Maintains a thorough working knowledge of scheduling procedures, and communicates effectively with clients and staff.

· Courteously receives telephone requests for services and referrals; obtains all the necessary demographics and information as required by the referral and central intake forms.

· Screens all applications for employment and interviews potential employees. Coordinates pre-employment screening and processing of employee through Human Resources.

· Coordinates and implements orientation of new employees with Nursing Supervisor.

· Participates in the payroll process to ensure accuracy, completion, and legibility of time slips.

· Maintains required logs: referrals, referral sources, missed visits, and complaints.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

Education - High School diploma or equivalent

Experience - Must have at least one (1) year experience in scheduling responsibilities. Computer experience required.
