Description
Mark Hydraulics is looking for a “hands on” Supervisor to improve Repair Shop and Production operations in Omaha. As Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the successful execution of evaluation and repair, machining, power unit fabrication, hydraulic hose assembly, and coordinating/managing inventory levels at key customers. You will be expected to lead and manage a team of four to five people.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and support the repair quotes and purchasing process.
- Quote specialty repair jobs and publish photo reports as required.
- Create job packets with job numbers provided by our computer system.
- Maintain a job schedule seeing to the details of the repairs and any vendor sourcing required.
- Manage shop procedures, productivity and crew levels as needed.
- Close finished jobs, publish packing slips provided by our computer system and arrange for shipping.
- Monitor shop costs, job efficiencies and profits.
- Conducting annual performance and wage reviews with your direct reports.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
- Fluid Power experience and knowledge
- 5-8 years of experience in a shop environment required
- Prior experience leading and managing a team is required
- Solid computer skills: Excel, Word, Power Point, etc
- Lean or SixSigma Training/Experience preferred
- ERP experience preferred (EPICOR/P21, SAP)
