Description
Position Summary The scheduling manager role involves managing a team of schedulers for a client in the Chicago region. The qualified candidate will serve as the lead for PMA, overseeing both team and client management. This candidate will also ensure we consistently deliver value to the client, manage all their scheduling needs, and promptly address any issues that arise. Position Qualifications
- Bachelors in engineering, construction management, or related field required.
- 15+ years of experience in developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Experience in collaborating and resolving project issues and working independently with minimal direction required.
- Experience with project schedule resources and cost loading required.
- Expert in Oracle Primavera P6 required.
- Facilitates interactive planning sessions with the project team to develop baseline schedules and recovery options where applicable
- Manage all schedulers assigned to the program and resolve scheduling issues with client leadership
- Deploy innovative scheduling solutions focused on continuous improvement and adherence to best-in-class industry practices and standards.
- Develop training related material for the scheduling team and assist with their career progression
- Experience with presenting work products and facilitating work sessions preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing or oil & gas industry preferred.
Additional Requirements Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen. Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
