    Job Details
  • Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required.
  • May float to Med-Surg.
  • Additional Requirement: Must be able to read strips.
  • Accepts 1st time travelers!
  • Avg Census: 36
  • Rooms/Beds 36
  • Ratios - 1:4
  • Every other weekend coverage required.
  • No Call requirement.
  • Scrubs: Royal Blue.
  • Patient Population: Adolescents - Geriatrics.
  • Must be able to work in Telemetry setting. Must have experience with vents, groin care and chest tubes.
  • Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring.
  • Required Cardiovascular skills: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery.
  • Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.
  • Required Medication skills: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration.
  • Required Respiratory/Thoracic Skills: Care of Chronic/Long-term Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks, Tracheostomy Management.
  • RTO must be on the submittal, No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment, 1 Holiday RTO must only be submitted but it is not guaranteed to be approved, Please Note: Once RTO is submitted, this cannot be changed unless it's to cancel time requested - ensure that you have confirmed all dates needed off for the full 13 week contract.
