  • Minimum Experience: 3 years; 1st Timers are accepted
  • Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics
  • General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Inpatient and Outpatient Work Settings; Follow provided Piedmont Protocols and Policy to Perform CT Scans on IP, ER and OP Patients. Start IV's, consent Pts, and provide excellent Patient care. Maintain a positive and productive work environment with the current team of Technologist, Nurses, Doctors and Transporters.
  • Ratio / Census: 4 Rooms with average caseload of 12-24 per day. Piedmont Henry is a Level 3 Trauma Hospital with 237 beds, 59 treatment areas in the ED and a substantial level of Stroke Alerts.
  • Unit Systems: Work on Siemens and Philips CT Scanners, Epic Medical Records and Fuji PACs.
  • Scrub Color: Gray
  • RTO: MAX 7 days
  • Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
  • Floating: Within facility if needed
  • Call Requirements: 8 Days Total - will be given at least 2 weeks notice; unit will do their best to set up full call schedule within the first week of the assignment.
  • Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: New Year's Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1 Memorial Day: Monday, May 27 Independence Day: Thursday, July 4 Labor Day: Monday, September 2 Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29 Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25
  • Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
