Certification Details
• ACLS required for all RN's except L&D. Not required for LPN's, Tech's, Case Management or Social Workers.
• Certifications that are expiring within a week of start must be renewed and will not be accepted.
• NIH required for all RN's except certain departments. Required within 12 months prior to start and must be updated ANNUALLY.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute required for Emergency Department only.

Job Details
• Miami Valley Hospital South is looking for a MRI tech that is interested in 3x12's.
• Associate degree in Allied Health with an area of study or major: Radiologic Technology is necessary.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a large hospital; level 1 preferred will accept level 2 experience.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Independently performs diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media.
• Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.
• Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Radiology Department.
• Exercises professional judgment in performing duties to maintain equipment in good working condition.
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on-call responsibilities.

Job Requirements
• BLS is required through AHA and, ARTT, ODH certification.
• Will be fitted for N95 before working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.

Schedule Information
• Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID.
• Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday.
• Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 3 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract/2 shifts for an 8-week contract.
• Premier Health reserves the right to cancel the agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine.

Additional Details
• Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.
• Request RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer. RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion.
