Will float to less or like units when needed where qualified

Medication override test is NOT a required module before start
Our team approach is family centered and includes daily multidisciplinary rounding, as well as, physician team rounds at the bedside with the family and the nurse
Our facility provides private rooms for patients/families, playrooms, family lounge, classroom and an outside courtyard
Rolling start dates, only 2 candidates per orientation acceptable
COVID19 Vaccine - COVID-19 vaccination is strongly recommended

1 year experience (no new grads)
AHA BLS, AHA PALS (RQI not accepted)
HARD REQUIREMENT: Vent Experience
Inpatient Pediatric RN experience
Tracheostomy care
Ventilator Management
dialysis
total care
spinal fusions
lumbar drains
externalized ventricular device (none of these are initiated at the bedside, but these are the patients we work with)

Orientation Details: There will be 1 (12hr) orientation day (4 hours on each unit: 10N, 9N, and 9S)
Orientation day will be variable - dependent on units' preceptor availability for that week
1 in-patient EPIC class offered every Tuesday
Facility expectation is RN picks up shifts immediately following orientation completion

48 hours review time - reviewed by the facility for approval
Charting system - Epic (strong EPIC needed)
Scrub color - Any
4+ weeks Credentialing process, orientation requested 2 weeks out
Priority compliance item must be obtained within 24 hours - 1 week of acceptance
Two (2) manager or supervisor references from an employer within the last 12 months required
