The Field Marketer Sr will join a team dedicated to creating field marketing initiatives focused on client and prospect engagement. Paycom is searching for a talented candidate who's motivated to organize outstanding and unforgettable events that support business needs. The Field Marketer should be well-organized and possess a sound knowledge of event management. Excellent communication and attention to detail skills are vital in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work collaboratively across events and marketing teams to support strategic field marketing initiatives as well as organizing specific events including regional tradeshows, client and prospect events, thought leadership events and happy hours.
  • Responsible for end-to-end logistics support for field marketing projects, including setting priorities, identifying requirements, meeting deadlines, and proactively mitigating potential risks.
  • Effectively communicate project status' and requirements via written and oral communication and via project management software, adhering to field marketing process standards.
  • Manage event timelines, booth planning, event setup, vendor management, transportation, registration and marketing deliverables.
  • Responsible for tracking and applying field marketing budget.
  • Track, analyze and deliver reports on each event to gauge ROI to help optimize and inform our overall field marketing strategy.
  • Attend and staff field marketing events.


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Events, Communications, Public Relations or related field

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in coordinating and/or planning conventions, conferences, tradeshows and/or special events

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)

Skills/Abilities:

  • 50% travel required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and be a team player who works collaboratively with colleagues and management
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Strong project, financial and time management skills are required
  • Service-oriented attitude, highly organized, detail focused and results driven
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accountable with the ability to handle multiple high priority projects simultaneously and effectively manage last-minute, urgent requests
  • Must be able to manage external vendors always looking for maximum advantage and outcomes for Paycom
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment and track record of successful execution of multiple events with opposing priorities
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and with a team
