Summary of Job Description:

The Senior Distribution Services Representative position is responsible for serving as a liaison between Panda Distribution Partners, Panda internal stakeholders and Operators to help ensure distribution services-related issues are resolved on a timely basis. This position tracks and evaluates the performance of Panda distribution partners and maintains and evaluates SCM database systems, resolving data flow issues. The Senior Representative cultivates and sustains strong relationships with Panda distribution partners to ensure their compliance with contractual agreements related to safety, service, quality, and cost. This position is a member of the Distribution Services team, providing end-to-end operational support for our Operators and stakeholders. 

 

You'll get a chance to: 

  • Resolve third party distributor service-related issue through daily interaction with all levels of Operations, distributors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders at Operations/store level to ensure core value of Great Operations is upheld.
  • Escalate unresolved issue to the Distribution Services Manager.
  • Track, evaluate, and resolve service level performance issue (i.e., late deliveries, damaged products, mis-picks, etc.) with Panda distribution partners.
  • Partner with Distribution Services Manager to resolve more complex issue.
  • Maintain and evaluate various SCM databases for item maintenance for store purchase authorization and inventory, DC contact list, store list, etc.
  • Resolve data flow issue with distribution partners in collaboration with IS and Crunchtime teams.
  • Maintain product supply knowledge of specific DC-related issue, articulate status, and communicate recovery plan to Operations.
  • Lead Quarterly Joint Business Planning presentations to Distribution Services leaders and help build the Annual presentation presented by Distribution Services leaders.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Regional Operations Meetings to understand region-specific issue and develop corrective actions with Distributors.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings/projects and collaborate across all Supply Chain teams for the success of the company.
  • Prepare and maintain project plans, provide progress updates, and arrange logistics for projects, including event planning and travel.
  • Collaborate with Panda FSQA Team to resolve product quality and food safety issue, such as recalls, withdrawals, and final disposition of products.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issue to the Distribution Services Manager.
  • Lead and/or participate in Distribution Services-related projects, such as evaluating Operators' Distribution Service Performance Survey results.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify supply chain for Operations.
  • Attend professional and industry-related conferences and seminars to stay current with industry trends, Supply Chain innovation, technology, and best practices.

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum five years of business experience, preferably in fields such as Supply Chain, Customer Service, Food Service environment, Account/Project Management, and/or Business Analytics 
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required training
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
  • If hired, successful completion of annual store training

Pay Range: P3: $90,000 - $126,500 / Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.





ADA Statement:

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
