Summary of Job Description:

The NSO Specialist is responsible for providing high quality delivery and implementation of systems and training at new store openings. This role is a key advocate for Operations learning and development as an execution and delivery specialist in consultation with the Manager, New Store Opening. This position facilitates communication and collaboration across teams to maintain smooth Operations and high service levels. 


You'll get a chance to:

  • Provide high quality delivery and implementation of systems and training at new store openings. 
  • Serve as key advocate for Operations learning and development as an execution and delivery specialist in consultation with the Manager, New Store Opening.
  • Collaborate with management to align Operations with strategic goals and business plans associated with new store openings.  
  • Provide or oversee Operations-focused training to ensure new store associates are meeting Operations standards.
  • Evaluate the quality of new store Operations and provides constructive feedback. 
  • Augment and support Operations training efforts in the field.
  • Serve as a new store opening Operational resource to the NSO Program Committee in representing an Operations perspective.
  • Monitor and analyze current Operations to identify potential efficiency improvements and process enhancements.  
  • Provide training and guidance related to Operations system changes (e.g., changes in cooking procedures, addition of drive-thru).
  • Train and develop less experienced NSO associates and Operations associates to ensure that they adhere to standard operating procedures.

Your background and experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Operations management experience or completion up to GO 202 Classes (high performing GM/TL)
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Spanish preferred
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P2s: $72,500 - $101,500 / Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.

ADA Statement:

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
