Summary of Job Description:
The HR Assistant position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Field HR and Associate Relations team, including general administrative tasks, such as pulling data, setting up meetings, power point presentations, preparation of correspondence and memos as needed. Interfaces with various levels of Operations management to assist them with HR needs.
You'll get a chance to:
- Provide administrative support to the Field HR and Associate Relations teams, including but not limited to, managing inquiries and My Voice Matters reports from associates and other departments, conducting exit interviews, pulling corrective actions, sending mail correspondence, processing new hire requests, and language translations.
- May support with investigations related requests such as reviewing video footage, reviewing and analyzing timecards, and interviewing and logging in associate relations claims with supervisor's guidance.
- Generate correspondence memos and presentations to support Field HR and Associate Relations teams.
- Draft memos related to new and existing HR initiatives (e.g., My Voice Matters) for HR Field management to distribute to Operations associates.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as copying, faxing, collating, and filing documents, ordering office supplies, processing invoices, returning calls and/or emails and generating standard weekly/monthly HR reports.
- Maintain the Field HR contact list.
- Support Field HR and Associates Relations teams with special projects.

Your background and experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year of administrative or customer service experience required
- Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
- Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
Pay Range: $24.00 - $30.50 / Hour
* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
