Summary of Job Description:
The Director of Development is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of systems, programs, and systems software to meet the company's information needs. This position establishes IS policies, standards, practices, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent information processing operations and to safeguard information resources. The Director of Development works with IS Leadership to select and retain qualified staff to effectively carry out department functions and provide for the continuity of managerial and specialized skills.
You'll get a chance to:
- Manages the design, development, improvement, and maintenance of systems, programs, and systems software to meet management's and company's information needs.
- Establishes IS policies, standards, practices and security measures to ensure effective and consistent information processing operations and to safeguard information resources.
- Leads the various software development teams, including training, mentoring, and project and task assignments.
- Works with the IS Leadership to select and retain qualified staff to effectively carry out department functions and provide for the continuity of managerial and specialized skills. Coaches and develops the team to elevate their performance in support of the company's growth strategies.
- Maintains knowledge of development in the area of systems and hardware and incorporates new knowledge into a cohesive development vision and strategy for the company.
- Works with peers, business partners, offshore development and vendors to build and maintain close relationships and partnerships.

Your background and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IS or related field required
- Minimum ten years of IS experience with increasing management responsibility, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment
- Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
- Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
Pay Range: M4: $161,000 - $226,000 / Annual
* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
