Position: Part Time Security Guard Site: Max Aicher North America Address: 855 Industrial Dr, Hamilton, ON L8L 0B2 Hours: Saturday (0600-1800 hrs) Pay Rate: $18.00/hr.
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Job Skills / Requirements Position Overview: The Security Guard is responsible for the overall protection of all property and client assets at the assigned facility. The Security Guard is expected to represent Paladin Security Group as well as the facility they are assigned to.
Essential Job Functions:
- Working on assigned shifts you will provide proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents.
- In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Weigh scale operations
- Greeting all employees, contracts, and visitors.
- Following client procedures in relation to directing contractors and visitors onto the property.
- Screening all employees, contractors, and visitors before entering the property.
- General Customer Service Duties.
- Accountable for keeping accurate logs and notebook entries of all shift activity and calls for service.
- Accountable to write accurate reports upon investigations or reportable occurrences in timely manner upon completion of occurrence.
- Investigate and follow-up of incidents, report writing, door opening requests, CCTV camera reviews.
- Any additional duties and assignments as requested.
- A valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification
- Ability to operate client's complex computer systems and software.
- Proficient in English (Verbal and Written)
- Strong critical thinking and customer service skills.
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's pre-employment UoF/MOAB certification training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability

High School Diploma/GED
Valid Ontario Security License
Valid Certification in First Aid, CPR and AED
