We are looking for two highly motivated People and Culture Coordinators to support our Ontario branches with project-based recruitment efforts, focusing on hiring casual, seasonal, and special event staff. These positions are based out of our Toronto office but will involve rotating between branches across Ontario based on business needs. This position requires flexibility and the ability to travel on short notice, depending on the locations of the supported branches.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for casual, seasonal, and event-based roles across various Ontario branches.
- Maintain a high level of communication with hiring managers to ensure understanding of role requirements and deadlines.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across branches and within the HR team.
- Occasionally travel (0-25%) to different Ontario locations to support recruitment efforts and assist with interviews, onboarding, or other HR-related tasks.
- Ensure the recruitment process is efficient, transparent, and aligned with the company's standards for quality and diversity.
- Coordinating onboarding and training
- Generate reports as needed
- Ensure statutory compliances are met such as licenses and Employment Standards legislation
- Administer various HR software programs
- Assist with the administration of the Employee Benefits Program
- Ensures that all the personnel files are kept up to date and confidential
- Coordinates assignments for training and orientation classes; keeps track and ensures all employees receive adequate training
- Perform other duties as required
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or education relative to job description
- Demonstrated expertise in MS Office suite of products and database maintenance
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ongoing interest in training and personal development
Problem solving and conflict resolution ability - Flexibility to travel to different branches
- A positive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and changing demands.
Certificate Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or related) field
