Pay Rate: $21.00/hr

Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement - calculating after 88 hours bi-weekly
Requirements:
- Canadian born or Permanent resident of Canada
- Completion and approval of Controlled Goods Security Clearance
- Clear Credit Check
- Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act
- Able to maintain a professional composure in all types of situations
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service along with good computer abilities are all core requirements
- Superior written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write clear, concise, and legible reports
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
- Responding to and reporting all incidents of criminal activity, suspicious activity, and hazardous situations
- Unlocking and locking doors and offices
- Providing access control
- Providing a uniform security presence within various locations and customer service areas
- Monitor CCTV systems and responding as required
- Ensuring the buildings are secured after hours.
- Completing directed patrols of all required areas.
- Patrol assigned area on foot, as assigned, to ensure personal, building and equipment security
- Watch for and report irregularities by completing investigations and incident reports, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders, such as police, fire, and/or ambulance personnel, as required
- Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services by enforcing rules and regulations when required
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Ability to work alone or in a team.
- Enthusiastically conducts proactive patrols, and be able to address policy breeches, and note facility concerns.
- Ability to write detailed incident reports for all emergencies and day to day activities.
- Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner so as not to create panic amongst the public.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Logging in/out of two-way Radio.
- Report any unsafe working conditions in any/all departments.
- Ability to provide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s)
- Respond to all types of occurrences.

Controlled Goods Security Assessment
Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
