  Job Skills / Requirements Paladin will be hosting an open interview day from 11AM-4PM on February 5th, 2025 in the Crowfoot room at the Medicine Hat College, for applicants who are interested in meeting on the spot.

This position is temporary starting April 21st, 2025 with an estimated end date of May 23rd, 2025. 

At the end of your temporary assignment, Paladin may, in its sole discretion, based on its assessment of your suitability and its business needs, offer to: 

  • extend your temporary assignment on the same or different terms;
  • move you to the casual pool with the original base wage
  • release you from our employ
You may choose to accept or decline the offers provided.  

Job Description:

Paladin will be partnering with Methanex; a large company that is preparing to complete a renewal of statutory mechanical inspections of all pressure vessels and associated equipment in addition to performing corrective maintenance work that requires an outage to execute. 


Job Duties:

  • Proactive & reactive security patrols
  • Surveillance monitoring
  • Response to incidents
  • Report writing
  • Investigate routine incidents
  • Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:

  • Valid Alberta Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C 
  • Ability to work in a fast-pace and flexible environment while maintaining the utmost professionalism
  • Moderate physical activity, standing and walking for long periods of time in outdoor weather conditions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation
  • Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations
  • Adhere to our Code of Ethics in performing job requirements
  • Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, French considered an asset
Certification Requirements (Any)

Valid Security Licence
