Job Details
• Position Summary: The Mammography Technologist will support the mission and values of PSMC. Under the direct supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Manager and the Radiologist, the Mammography Technologist performs Screening and Diagnostic Mammograms to assist in the diagnosis of disease. The Mammography Technologist also performs diagnostic procedures and assists the Radiologist with these procedures. The Mammography Technologist works effectively with patients and patients families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel.

Job Requirements
• High school diploma or GED;
• Must have graduated from an approved ARRT program.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience preferred.

Schedule Information
• The physical demands anticipates standing, bending, walking and long periods of sitting.

Unit Specific Information
• Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to work stress, environmental stress, and frequent interruptions; noise level is moderate; work may involve exposure to blood, bodily fluids and communicable diseases; frequent communications, on a daily basis, with the general public, co-workers, vendors and patients.
