Summary:
Provide direct leadership and supervision over peer-based recovery and/or community support programming and services delivered by recovery support services staff at the Oneida Recovery Nest. Work under the guidance of the Oneida Behavioral Health Director and local Recovery Support Services Director to facilitate the engagement of individuals who may benefit from recovery support services Serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, navigator, and motivator to at times, individuals in or seeking recovery in an effort to promote person-centered recovery planning and goal realizations, which may include reductions in harm from substance use and sustaining long-term recovery. The RCS must demonstrate an ability to manage all aspects of recovery support services programming, including staff and programming scheduling, one-on-one and group supervision, partner relationships, grant data reporting, and development of new programming as needed. The RCS should consciously share personal lived experiences as appropriate, develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships, and have an understanding of and respect for each individual's unique path to recovery and/or community re-entry.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, navigator, provide oversight and direct supervision of all Recovery Support Services staff
* Orients, and trains all new staff; facilitates administrative staff meetings.
* Provides 1:1 supervision weekly to each Recovery Coach
* Engages in relationship building and management with community and governmental partners as needed to further the reach and impact of peer support services and programming
* Administrative duties include staff schedules, data tracking and entry or monitoring, monthly service engagement reports, and regular digital communication via digital platforms.
* Presents on the topic of Recovery Coaching and/or recovery via informational sessions or meetings with partners and other community-based organizations
* Completes annual staff evaluations in a timely manner
* Ensures that all paperwork is completed in a timely manner
* Closely monitors staff weekly service hours
* Acts as a liaison between program staff and provider networks
* Conduct self in an ethical manner by adhering to the Oneida BH codes of ethics
* Maintain strict departmental security, confidentiality, and quality to meet professional standards of the department
Skills:
Essential:
* Obtain additional education and training
* Comply with Caregiver Law and Grant conditions criminal history checks as a condition of employment to include fingerprinting
* Adhere to strict confidentiality
* Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with the individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds
* Ability to serve people during crisis situations
* Knowledge of the disease of substance abuse through direct working experience or course work
* ROSC (Recovery Orientated Systems of Care) and ability to provide services or refer to services that assist/enrich the recoveree and recoverees' family members
* Knowledge of Work Processing software, Electronic Medical Records software, and Spreadsheet design software. Proficient in MS Windows Navigation, Word, and Outlook
* Must be billable and reimbursable for commercial insurances, and medical assistance
* High degree of technological literacy, or willingness to acquire these skills as part of employment
* Background checks may be required for staff that will work with youth, inside criminal justice settings, or other settings as determined by the Oneida Behavioral Health Director
* Ability to read and interpret financial reports and make service and programming recommendations to the Behavioral Health Director based upon this information
* Must have substance, mental health, and co-orrurring knowledge and skills with the ability to clearly comunicate these to others
* Knowledge of agency policies and procedures and the ability to relay them to others
* Strong supervision skills and the ability to maintain and promote positive working relationships
* Excellent assessment and interviewing skills
* Ability to support staff in difficult situations
* Effective use of time and resources to help maintain quality services
* Must have knowledge of Recovery Coach Professional Ethical Code, Peer Specialist Code of Conduct

Credential equivalent experience:
Essential:
* Or possess Training license and be willing to obtain regular LPC, LMFT, LCSW, within two (2) years of employment.
* A valid driver's license or occupational driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance is required. Must obtain a Wisconsin driver's license or occupational driver's license within thirty (30) days of employment if applicant has an out-of-state driver's license. Must be authorized as eligible to operate a Personal and Tribal vehicle under the Oneida Nation's Vehicle Driver Certification and Fleet Management Law prior to actual start date. Must maintain driver's eligibility as a condition of employment.
