Summary:
Provide leadership, administration and management to the Aging & Disability Services which includes, Nutrition Programming, Outreach, Home Chore, Aging & Disability Resource Specialist and Activities. This position will ensure the administration of all programs are maintained in accordance with established laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.
Responsibilities:
* Assures department provides excellent customer service skills at all times to include, but not limited to, individuals, families, agencies, and general public requests courteously and promptly.
* Provide management, supervision, and leadership to the Aging and Disability Services Department (ADRS) staff to include hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, disciplinary actions, coaching and evaluation of staffPr
* Develop and implement departmental plans, goals and objectives and ensure compliance to contractual obligations and requirements.
* Host regular staff meetings to ensure communication between personnel and business-related activities
* Prepare, administer, and manage the budgets of multiple business units to include: TANF, CCDF, Community Support, Income Maintenance, WIOA, General Assistance, N.E.W, General Welfare Distribution, and Community Education Center.
* Prepare and submit required program reports and plans to the Human Services Division, Oneida Nation Commission on Aging (ONCOA) and funding sources within required time frames
* Secure additional funding and grant monies for continuation and expansion of program services.
* Contribute to department's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues and goals that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of actions; implementing directives
* Act as an advocate for the elderly members of the Oneida Nation.
* Maintain a positive working relationship with ONCOA
* Keep leadership and other departments informed of status of EAP activities by attending meetings and submitting reports
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge through research, attending seminars, educational workshops, classes and conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing networks; participating in professional societies; conferring with representatives of contracting agencies and related organizations

* Must present a professional appearance and demeanor as a representative of the Oneida Nation in dealing with the general public
* Knowledge of economic, health, mental health, security, and leisure issues related to the elderly population

* Knowledge of budget preparation and grant/proposal writing
* Knowledge of available health and welfare resources for the elderly.
* Skill in organizational management. This requires the incumbent to plan, organize and schedule priorities efficiently and effectively, meet strict deadlines and successfully cope with challenging situations and conditions.
* Ability to inform and communicate verbally and in writing in diverse and challenging situations with the ability to process information effectively, identify and define problems and make objective decisions.
* Knowledge of corporate and/or governmental management, system analysis, operations, finance, and accounting
* Knowledge in human resources management policies and procedures
* Knowledge of tribal, federal, and state legislation regarding elder-related matters

* A valid driver's license or occupational driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance is required. Must obtain a Wisconsin driver's license or occupational driver's license within thirty (30) days of employment if applicant has an out-of-state driver's license. Must be authorized as eligible to operate a Personal and Tribal vehicle under the Oneida Nation's Vehicle Driver Certification and Fleet Management Law prior to actual start date. Must maintain driver's eligibility as a condition of employment.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
