Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing all operations of the plant including safety, onboarding and performance management, production, customer service, quality, scheduling, maintenance and purchasing. It is also responsible for making recommendations on productivity improvement, quality and waste reduction. Other duties include:
- Work with equipment manufacturers on new equipment purchases, equipment upgrades and parts and troubleshoot issues as necessary
- Oversee safety and environmental programs
- Maintain and update asset list as necessary and report any changes to Corporate Accounting
- Assist in developing annual budget
- Assist Sales Department in preparing cost estimates
- Review daily, weekly and monthly operating reports and understand appropriate financial reporting related to each
- Other duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements
- High school diploma / equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing / plant environment
- Must have management experience, at least 1 year preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, employees, and managers
- Demonstrated ability to plan and successfully implement programs through the direction of others
- Microsoft Office skills required
Ability to lift up to 40lbs
Compensation
The hourly pay rate is $25-$30/hr
