Certification Details
• AHA only. RQI is accepted.
• Required for the following specialties at certain facilities: Nursing specialties like Cath Lab, CC Step-Down, CCU, CVICU, Dialysis, Endoscopy/GI, ER, ICU, L&D, MICU, Neuro ICU, NICU, OR, Outpatient Surgery, PACU, Pre-Op, SICU, Telemetry, Transplant.
• BLS - Basic Life Support
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
• AWONN INTERMEDIATE required for L&D RNs.
• Tech Cert Verification - National
• Sex Offender Search

Job Details
• Unit does not accept first time travelers
• 3 years min experience required
• On call requirement
• Candidate must be highly proficient in all aspects of cardiac cases.

Additional Details
• Current/valid Drivers License/State ID or government photo ID required.
• Copy must be in color, no black and white copies of document.
• If certification expires within 30 days of start, renewal must be completed prior to start date.
• Run online verification of the relevant Professional Certification during the 30 days before the start date. Update annually
• HIPAA acknowledgement required - must be updated annually.
• License Verification required within 30 days of start.
• All candidates must have an active LA License or Compact License upon submission effective immediately.
• NURSYS required within 30 days of start.
• Candidates are required to renew their CPI cards through Ochsner (call to schedule).
• Must be from Crisis Prevention Institute
• Must be updated annually.
