Job Details
• POST OP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• This is a MED/SURG position that specializes in post-op GI and wound care. Please only submit candidates with this experience. Acute care experience required
• Med/Surg and post-op experience required
• Must have experience working full time on a post-op unit
• Must have a minimum of one travel contract completed to be submitted
• 2 years experience required
• Patient Diagnoses include: Pancreatitis, GI bleeds, Bowel obstructions, Bowel perforation, Wound infections, Post Op infections, mass removal, Esophageal perf, GSW, MVC, Diverticulitis
• Special Procedures include: Pancreatectomy, Esphagectomy, Whipple, Spleenectomy, Adrenalectomy, Cystectomy, Colectomy, Thyroidectomy, Mastectomy, Hepatic Resection, Nissen, Bariatric Surgery, TURP, Gastrectomy, Parathyroidectomy, Ex lap
• Equipment that may be used: PEG, PEJ, PCA, Per drain, JP drain, hemo vac, wound vac, nephrostomy tubes, Ileostomy, Colostomy, Urostomy, and surgical drains skills are preferred.
• Manager may consider a blocked schedule if the candidate is willing to work a weekend block Fri, Sat, Sun or Sat, Sun, Mon rotation.
