Description
Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease Physician for our Slidell campus. It operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South.
This position is a combined hospital and clinic-based practice, including inpatient. The ideal candidate will be trained in epidemiology and infection prevention and control.
Position Highlights:
- Shared call rotation - no more than 17 weekends out the year.
- You would be joining a practice with 2 other physicians and 1 APP as well as support staff in the clinics such as MAs and LPNs.
- Inpatient side would be hospital rounding heavy every other week, then the opposite weeks you would do some light rounding and mainly do outpatient visits.
