- Assess, plan, organize, and execute therapy plan that helps build or restore daily living skill as well as general independence to children with neurological and/or developmental delays
- Plan organize and conduct occupational therapy programs to help rehabilitate those impaired because of illness, injury or psychological or developmental problems
- Test program involving activities such as manual arts and crafts
- Provides practice in functional daily living skills
- Coordinates participation in sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities designed to help patients develop or regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to disabilities
- Consults with other members of rehabilitation team to select activity program consistent with needs and capabilities of individual
- Selects constructive activities suited to children's physical capacity, intelligence level, and interest to upgrade individual to maximum independence, assist in restoration of functions, and aid in adjustment to disability
- Evaluates patients' progress and prepare reports that detail progress
- Complete and maintain necessary records
- Current Occupational Therapist CA license
- Master's Degree is required
- Two or more years licensed
- Pediatric experience are preferred
- Must possess knowledge regarding the various tests required to perform patient evaluations
- Must possess knowledge of principles, methods and procedures for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of children with neurological and/or developmental delays
- Excellent time management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Compensation details: 42-50 Hourly Wage
