The Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery in the Department of Surgery at NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island is seeking a fellowship-trained Trauma and Surgery Critical Care Surgeon to join our ACS-COT verified, NY State designated Level 1 Trauma Center. The successful candidate will possess outstanding clinical skills, a strong interest in education and research, and must qualify for a faculty appointment at New York University Long Island School of Medicine (NYULISOM). Responsibilities will include trauma, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery coverage at a rapidly growing tertiary care center. Opportunities for elective general surgery exist and are encouraged. Robust clinical and basic science research opportunities are also available and strongly encouraged. QUALIFICATIONS - * Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery * Board certified/Eligible in Surgical Critical Care Fellowship trained Additional training in an ACS fellowship highly desired The salary range will be 275k—335k. Call coverage is paid extra. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits.
