- 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS -Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility.
- Please only submit candidates with an active scrub tech certification.
- Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
- When submitting candidates include a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
- 13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
- Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
- responsibilities to include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology and/or Structural Heart.
- Ensures that complete and accurate documentation is maintained, ensures accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load.
- Respond and provide emergent care, performs administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness of the lab.
- Assures preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance in accordance to PHS, Local and Federal regulations.
- Job Requirements
- Associates Degree in RN program, radiology, Prefer 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP, procedures in performing scrubbing, circulating and monitoring/recording duties.
- RN licensure required.
- BLS, ACLS & PALS required.
- Requires detailed knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional technology.
- Schedule Information
- shift start 7am - on-call required weekdays.
- On-call at both Rust Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital, weekends required Friday 1730- Monday 0700 & holidays required for call only typically to Presbyterian Hospital & Rust Medical Center.
- Floating required (typically to Presbyterian Hospital & Rust Medical Center).
- Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
- Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
- ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
- Scrubs required
- 4 10 shifts 1 day off during the week.
- Additional Details
- Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
- Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of a permanent assigned location.
- State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
- ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENDED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
