- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Traveler must pass the BCA testing during first week of assignment

- 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS-Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility.

- Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
- When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
- 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required.
- Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
- Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

- Schedule Information
- 12 hour Days shift position-start time 0700
- 3 Weekend shifts in a 4 week scheduling period
- Shifts will be in the Emergency Department tending to Progressive Care level patients who are awaiting an inpatient bed
- Ratios will be the same as the typical inpatient unit
- Staff may fluctuate to fulfill other department staffing needs
- On call and holidays may be required
- Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location and to all areas in which they are trained, including alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients, including PresNow ED/UC (freestanding urgent/emergent care facilities)
- ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training
- Additional Details
- Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
- Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
- State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
