Certification Details
• BLS required.
• PALS and ACLS preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

Job Details
• 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility.
• Candidates with an active NM or compact license preferred.
• Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
• When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
• 2 years experience current required in large OR. Ortho, ENT, and/or vascular experience a plus.
• Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Candidate must be able to scrub.

Job Requirements

• 2 years experience required in a large OR setting.
• Experience in Ortho, ENT, and/or vascular is beneficial.
• Must have completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

Schedule Information
• Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
• Weekends, on call, and holidays may be required.
• Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.

Unit Specific Information
• ORIENTATION: Is the first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training (Epic test out available if has used Epic in the last six months)
• SCRUBS: Required and provided.

Additional Details
• Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
• Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
• State tax is passed through to the agency and will be reflected on the invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
