Certification Details
• BLS required
• PALS and ACLS preferred
• BLS, (ACLS, and PALS if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross

Job Details
• 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS
• candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility
• candidates with an active NM or compact license
• time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval
• Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved
• 13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in large OR
• current Cardiovascular Experience required
• Ortho, ENT and Transplant experience a plus
• Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Candidate must be able to scrub

Schedule Information
• Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs
• Weekends, on call, and holidays may be required
• Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location
• ORIENTATION: Is the first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training (Epic test out available if has used Epic in last six months)

• NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)
• Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position
• Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location
• State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice
• The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico
