Position Summary:
The Program Manager for Data Integration & Cloud Security will oversee and unify multiple data sources, ensuring a secure, centralized, and compliant information environment. They will facilitate collaboration across departments, break down data silos, and implement best practices that foster interoperability and transparency. Additionally, this role involves creating and maintaining data dashboards, guiding the adoption of emerging technologies like AI, and aligning IT initiatives with broader organizational priorities. Ultimately, the Program Manager will provide the leadership and expertise needed to streamline data management and support data-driven decision-making throughout the enterprise.
As the Program Manager for Data Integration & Cloud Security, you will lead the effort to create a unified, secure data ecosystem that empowers informed, data-driven decisions. You'll guide cross-functional teams, streamline complex data processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards, all while helping shape the organization's strategic technology future.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end data integration projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery.
- Establish and maintain cloud security best practices, enforcing compliance with industry standards.
- Break down organizational data silos to create a unified source of truth and streamline reporting.
- Develop interactive dashboards and analytics tools to provide real-time insights for informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate technical requirements effectively, and guide the adoption of emerging technologies like AI.
- Monitor project risks, track progress, and escalate issues as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert, offering consultation and training related to data integration, cloud security, and cybersecurity measures.
Formal Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience managing large-scale data integration initiatives and cross-functional technology projects.
- Strong expertise in cloud security measures, compliance standards, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Proficiency in data management tools, ETL processes, and relevant cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of emerging technologies, including AI and advanced analytics, and their potential impact on data strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience within the utility, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record implementing AI-driven solutions or advanced analytics tools.
- Demonstrated success in driving organizational change management initiatives.
Essential Physical Requirements:
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
