    Job Details
  • RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite.
  • Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
  • Ratios: 1:6-7
  • Shift: NIGHT 3x12-Hour 36 or 48 hours.
  • If 48 THEN NO OT BILLED UNTIL AFTER 48
  • Will accept 13-26 week contracts!
  • RTO: 7 days MAX;
  • Float Requirement: YES REQUIRED
  • Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)
  • Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.
  • Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
  • Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
  • PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath
  • SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc). Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop
  • UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
  • SCHEDULING TYPE: Self
  • UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
  • SCRUBS: Navy
    Job Requirements
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2
  • Traveler Experience: NOT REQUIRED
  • Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
  • Skills: Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/StepdowN experience. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required. Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required.
  • Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line/care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath experience
  • Certs: ACLS
  • MUST Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.
  • NM must interview prior to finalizing the offer
