Traveler will work with the CNRO (Centralized Resource Nursing Pool), floating between several medical, surgical, and telemetry units
Patient Diagnoses: Assisting in caring for patients held in our ED who are inpatient
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Contract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID. Expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team during catastrophic events
Medication, Documentation, Communication Systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
Unit Orientation: 24hrs (2 shifts)
Scrub color: Navy

Scheduling type: Based on scheduling gaps
Shift: 12hr NIGHTS 36 ONLY -- will accept 13-26 week contracts
Maximum RTO (Requested Time Off): 7 days
Float Requirement: Yes, to three different campuses as needed and notified 2hrs before the start of the shift
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
**Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster

Patient ratios and shift details may change during times of increased census or organizational needs
Detail-oriented tasks such as medication administration and patient documentation via EPIC system
