- RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite.
- Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year required.
- Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPTS 1st time traveler.
- Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
- Patient Population: COPD, PNA, Resp distress, Covid-19, FLU, PE's.
- Patient population currently includes care for COVID-19 patients, including those who have tested positive.
- Job Requirements
- Skills: IV start, Vents, Telemetry and cpap/bipap, Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias.
- Certs: ACLS, BLS
- PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: NIHSS
- Schedule Information
- 36 - 48 hrs can be offered. OT will be offered after 48 hrs has been reached.
- 13-26 weeks can be offered.
- 12 HOUR NIGHTS
- RTO 7 DAYS MAX for Aya Auto Offer
- SCHEDULING TYPE: Unit Can Accommodate Block Scheduling
- Float Requirement: required to float to like units.
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in 6 weeks but staffing needs may require more.
- Unit Specific Information
- Target Ratios: 1:5-6 (Mixed acuity unit with PCU and MS/Tele patients with ratios of 1:6)
- UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
- SCRUBS: white or navy blue
- An Admission/Discharge nurse
- Vascular Access Team
- RRT
- Code Team
- Behavioral Health Team
- Special Equipment: Chest tubes, Drips, Dopamine, Cardizem, Heparin, vents, trachs, bipaps/cpaps
- UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
