Job Details
• RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
• Ratio of 1 nurse to 5-6 patients.
• Will Accept 13 -26 Weeks. *36hrs only.
• Shift: 12HR DAYS ***RTO -7 DAYS MAX***.
• Float Requirement: Floating to any other MS/Tele areas, may include COVID care units required.
• Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER Weekend.
• Unit Systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.
• UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 Hours.
• SCRUBS: Navy.

Job Requirements
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year.
• Travel Experience: At least 1 year of travel experience Prefer 2 years previous travel experience).
• Locals Accepted: Yes.
• Skills: IV Start, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias, Med/Surg neuro EXPERIENCE.
• Required Certs: BCLS, NIH, NIHSS.
• Preferred Certs: ACLS.
• Must have Med/Surg experience.

Schedule Information
• Accepting 13 to 26-week contracts.
• Shifts are 12 hours during the daytime.
• Self-Scheduling available.
• Maximum of 7 days of Requested Time Off (RTO) allowed.
• Floating to other similar units required, including COVID care units.
• Every other weekend work requirement.

Unit Specific Information
• We care primarily for Stroke patients.
• Neurosurgery patients and other Neuro diagnoses.
• 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Intermediate level.
• International Nurses may be accepted for Crisis Response.

Additional Details
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) considered Intermediate level.
• 42 daily census.
• 43 rooms/beds.
