- Job Details
- RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
- Ratio of 1 nurse to 5-6 patients.
- Will Accept 13 -26 Weeks. *36hrs only.
- Shift: 12HR DAYS ***RTO -7 DAYS MAX***.
- Float Requirement: Floating to any other MS/Tele areas, may include COVID care units required.
- Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER Weekend.
- Unit Systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.
- UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 Hours.
- SCRUBS: Navy.
- Job Requirements
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year.
- Travel Experience: At least 1 year of travel experience Prefer 2 years previous travel experience).
- Locals Accepted: Yes.
- Skills: IV Start, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias, Med/Surg neuro EXPERIENCE.
- Required Certs: BCLS, NIH, NIHSS.
- Preferred Certs: ACLS.
- Must have Med/Surg experience.
- Schedule Information
- Accepting 13 to 26-week contracts.
- Shifts are 12 hours during the daytime.
- Self-Scheduling available.
- Maximum of 7 days of Requested Time Off (RTO) allowed.
- Floating to other similar units required, including COVID care units.
- Every other weekend work requirement.
- Unit Specific Information
- We care primarily for Stroke patients.
- Neurosurgery patients and other Neuro diagnoses.
- 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Intermediate level.
- International Nurses may be accepted for Crisis Response.
- Additional Details
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) considered Intermediate level.
- 42 daily census.
- 43 rooms/beds.
