The Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York and the Division of Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation/Cellular Therapy in the Department of Pediatrics at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell seeks a full-time board certified/eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology candidate at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor with a strong interest in non-malignant hematology. Applicants must have an MD or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, clinical or translational research and clinical care. Leadership responsibilities will be commensurate with the level of experience. •Opportunities for leading and collaborating in clinical research and quality improvement projects
- Mentoring of Hematology Oncology fellows, pediatric residents and medical students
- Academic appointment at The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with experience.

Cohen Children's Medical Center is a 202 bed tertiary children's hospital. Clinical care is provided in an 18-bed oncology unit with 8 beds specifically designed and designated for stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy, a 13 bed Ambulatory Chemotherapy Transfusion Unit and a dedicated outpatient diagnostic center. Patients with hematologic disease are admitted to the general medical ward under the Division's care.
